In the pool area, Sheraton Grand Rio offers Casarão Restaurant, which serves noble cuts of meat at dinner and a buffet at lunch, in a casual and elegant atmosphere. - What did you like most?Very nice hotel. The staff was super friendly, specially the Concierge, who helped us to book a table in a nearby restoran. The pool is stunning.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The beach in front of the hotel is very small. You have to walk 10 - 15 minutes to get to Leblon.

- Was there anything you didn't like?- Late check-out was not possible, and we received a different explanation from the reception staff each day. The staff at the reception were generally unhelpful, blaming each other and didn’t seem interested in resolving the issue. We eventually gave up and booked access to the airport lounge instead, which proved to be an excellent choice. If you need a late check-out, I recommend confirming it in advance or considering another hotel. - Staff at swimming pool restaurant speaks almost no English. The communication was challenging - The hotel feels outdated, the facilities look old and not very well maintained. - There is a favela located just behind the hotel, which might be important for some guests to know. The hotel felt, though, overall safe.
