Realize It’s a 7.4 rated hotel but the positives outweigh the negatives
- What did you like most?The property staff was exceptionally nice. When I voiced a concern they responded very quickly. The location is exceptional. The rooms were very clean. It appears that the hotel in general is trying to do upgrades and is looking much better. The pool was nice. I do feel that it’s a good value for the price. I’d stay at Calypso again ?
- Was there anything you didn't like?There were some quirks about the property. It took two tries for us to get hot water because the staff had failed to turn on the instant hot water heater but we did get hot water on the second day Secondly, I think the property is trying to conserve water understandably so the water pressure is real low but not terrible. The rooms are on a busy road that you can hear throughout the night but again not terrible. The beach was a little ways away. It cost us an additional $90 to have a refrigerator but for me it was worth it I hope through the owners renovation that they add a dresser for guest to put clothes away. I’d stay at the calypso again!?
