Offering air-conditioned rooms, free WiFi and an on-site restaurant, Hotel Nouvel is located on a pedestrianized street just 328 feet from Barcelona’s Plaza Catalunya Square and the Ramblas. The hotel features ornate ceilings, cast bronze and crystal lamps, and marble floors, in the style of its 19th-century building. - What did you like most?Location is very central. The room was very spacious and comfortable
- Was there anything you didn't like?The 'free' wifi was a disaster. If you going to offer something then make sure it works. Saying that it is free does not justify bad quality. I had mentioned in correspondence before I arrived that I required 'GOOD QUALITY' wifi as I needed to work and no mention was made of a 'better' paid service as an option nor when I complained to reception. Thankfully the restaurant next door had a fantastic service and they were extremely accommodating in allowing me to work.

- Was there anything you didn't like?The room was too warm with no way to turn down the heat. The thermostat seemed to not work. There were instant coffee singles in the room but no coffee mugs. You had to pay for coffee downstairs. The walls were very thin. You can hear everything in the halls. TV had no selection of channels.
