- What did you like most?The EPIK is an ok hotel in a difficult neigbourhood. The hotel suffers as a consequence. It had a number of signs of lack of care, such as a teabag in the toilet, TV not working, draughty window, squeeky bed but overall was fine. The breakfast was basic but fine, oats, hot drink, juice, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable for San Francisco which was otherwise very expensive.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The location generally felt unpleasant. The area is well known for homelessness and drug use but the level was off the scale. This is not the hotel's fault and the City of San Francisco should do more than it is doing to address this problem. It is a disgrace that not more is being done. The hotel could do a bit more to sharpen up the rooms but generally ok.
